Raspberry Ketone in media

In last 30 days or so, Raspberry Ketone was mentioned frequently in different media outlets as the new hot thing in weight loss. It all started with Dr. Oz featuring Raspberry Ketone on his show, calling it a miracle fat burner in a bottle. You can see the clip hereABC News also touched on the subject on their website. Jane Allen from ABC News Medical Unit talks about the raspberry ketones frenzy. She also mention a very important fact. So far there were no studies on humen to confirm or deny the claims that Raspberry Ketone helps lose weight. "For now, the reputations of products like Raspberry Ketone Plus and Raspberry Ketone Ultra rest on anecdotes and two studies conducted on mice put on a high-fat diet. Japanese researchers reported in 2005 that raspberry ketone 'prevents and improves obesity and fatty liver,' by boosting the breakup of fat cells. Korean researchers reported in 2010 that raspberry ketone increased fat cells' secretion of a hormone called adiponectin that regulates the processing of sugars and fats in the blood."
Most websites about the product are not honest reviews but simply advertising copies. I couldn't find one unbiased text that would tell you if this product works or now. That's why I decided to test it myself. Please check the blog in the upcoming weeks. I will be testing the effects of Raspberry Ketone on myself.
